Ingredients
  • 1/2cup chopped walnuts
  • 1lb fresh green beans
  • 1tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2tsp lemon zest
  • 1pinch salt
  • 1pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. On baking sheet, arrange walnuts in single layer.
  2. Turn oven on to 375°F. Place baking sheet in oven while preheating. Toast 5-7 minutes. Transfer to bowl and set aside. Place steaming basket in medium saucepan. Add water up to bottom edge of steamer. Bring water to boil, add green beans and cover.
  3. Steam 4-5 minutes until tender.
  4. Place cooked beans in large bowl, toss with butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer beans to serving dish, sprinkle with toasted walnuts, and serve.
