Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp fresh grated lemon peel
- 1/4 cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
- 24 fresh clams
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
Instructions
- In small bowl, combine parsley, garlic, lemon peel, and dash of hot sauce.
- In large pot, place chicken stock and clams. Bring chicken stock to boil and cook for 5 minutes, or until shells open. As clams open, scoop each one in its shell into a serving bowl, six to each bowl. If a clam doesn't open, cook for several minutes longer. If it still doesn't open, discard.
- Ladle broth over clams, and sprinkle parsley mixture over clams.
- Serve with small forks to pull the clams from their shells, and big spoons to sip the broth
