Ingredients
- 20 oz frozen spinach
- 14 oz canned artichokes hearts drained
- 1 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 1 clove garlic minced.
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pinch Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Thaw spinach according to package directions. Drain and squeeze out excess water, until dry as possible.
- Chop artichoke hearts.
- Heat large skillet over medium, and add olive oil. Sauté onions 3-5 minutes until soft. Add garlic, and cook an additional minute. Add flour. Cook, stirring constantly, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Gradually stir in milk. Stir for about 5 minutes, until sauce thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
- Add spinach and cheese, stirring until cheese melts.
- Add artichoke hearts, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Serve hot
