Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup bourbon 94 proof
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin, lean, raw

Instructions

  1. In shallow, nonmetal casserole dish, mix bourbon, maple syrup, ketchup, 1/4 cup of water, nutmeg, and ginger.
  2. Place tenderloin in dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  4. Remove tenderloin from marinade. Discard marinade. Let stand 15 minutes at room temperature.
  5. Place on grill, cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, until pork is cooked thoroughly (internal temperature reaches 145°F).
  6. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
