Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 1/8 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/4 cup Ground Almonds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, mix bread crumbs and milk.
  2. Add ground meat, almonds, egg, water, thyme, marjoram, cinnamon, cardamom, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly with hands.
  3. Wet hands and form 24 meatballs. Set aside on plate.
  4. In large frying pan, heat 1 tsp olive oil over medium high.
  5. Add 1/2 of meatballs in single layer and cook until all sides are browned evenly, about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Use slotted spoon to remove and place on separate clean plate. Cover and keep warm.
  7. Repeat steps 6 & 7 with remaining meatballs.
