Ingredients
  • 1tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter
  • 1lb fresh green beans
  • 1/2cup Low Sodium Chicken Broth
  • 1tbsp oregano leaves
  • 1cup frozen white pearl onions
  • 2tbsp sliced almonds
Instructions
  1. Wash beans and trim ends.
  2. In small non-stick skillet, dry-roast almonds over medium heat for 2-4 minutes, stirring and turning occasionally. Set aside.
  3. In large skillet, heat butter over medium-high. Swirl to coat bottom of pan.
  4. Add beans and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Add broth, oregano, and pearl onions.
  6. Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook about 10 minutes, or until beans are tender.
  7. Sprinkle beans with dry roasted almonds. Serve.
