Ingredients

  • Butter Flavored Cooking Spray
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme
  • 2 fresh apples medium
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/4 cup wheat flour whole-grain

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Lightly coat 3-quart ovenproof pan with cooking spray.
  3. Rinse thyme and pat dry. Strip thyme leaves from stem.
  4. Core and chop apples. Place in large mixing bowl. Add brown sugar and thyme. Toss to mix well. Set aside.
  5. In medium bowl, whisk egg, milk, and flour. Pour into prepared pan.
  6. Gently place tossed apple slices into pan with eggs.
  7. Bake until frittata is puffed, golden brown, and set in center, 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes. Cut into wedges to serve.
