Ingredients

  • 12 Canned Water Chestnuts
  • 12 Canned Pineapple Chunks with juice
  • 12 Raw Bacon Slices
  • 4 Tsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Drain water chestnuts and pineapple. Slice water chestnuts and pineapple chunks in half.
  3. Cut strips of bacon in half.
  4. Hold pineapple and water chestnut piece together and wrap with bacon slice. Secure with wooden toothpick.
  5. Place appetizers in shallow baking dish.
  6. Bake 15 minutes. Brush with soy sauce and bake additional 10-15 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
  7. Remove from oven and move to serving dish. Let stand 7-10 minutes to cool before serving.
