Ingredients
- 3 lb whole beef brisket
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 cup sliced fresh onion
- 2 tbsp quick cooking tapioca
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp red wine
- 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger root
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 pinch hot red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh green onions
Instructions
- Place meat in 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add mushrooms and tapioca to slow cooker.
- In small bowl, combine water, soy sauce, wine, ginger root, garlic, and hot red pepper flakes.
- Add to slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high-heat setting for 5 to 6 hours.
- Transfer meat and mushrooms to serving platter.
- Spoon some of sauce over meat and mushrooms and sprinkle with green onions.
