Ingredients
- 1 Lb Lean Boneless Top Sirloin Steak
- 2 Tbsp Canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 Tsp Ground Oregano
- 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 Tbsp Crushed Garlic
- 1 Pinch salt
- 1 Pinch Black Pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the lime juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, and chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.
- Pierce the meat on both sides with a sharp knife, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and place in a glass dish.
- Pour lime-adobo marinade over meat, and turn to coat. Cover and marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours.
- Remove steak from refrigerator. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before grilling.
- Preheat grill to medium high.
- Lightly brush grill grate with oil. Discard marinade. Pat steaks dry and place on grill.
- Grill steak 5 minutes per side, or to your desired doneness.
- Remove from grill, and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
