Is cooking with an air fryer beneficial to type 2 diabetics as far as lower blood sugar is concerned?

Cooking with an air fryer allows you to use less oil and still maintain the taste and texture of fried foods. Although this will save you some calories, it will likely have little if any effect on blood sugar, since fats don't raise blood sugar. Therefore, pan frying, deep frying, or air frying food would be expected to result in very similar post-meal blood sugar levels.
