Should you check blood sugar two hours after you begin a meal or after you finish?

Thank you for asking dLife.

In general, it's recommended to measure your blood sugar two hours after the first bite of food. I If the meal lasts more than 30 minutes check 90 minutes after the last bite of food.

Additionally, you may want to test after one hour if you are seeking the tightest blood sugar control, because it's likely that your peak postprandial blood sugar will occur at the -onehour mark and will have already declined several points by the two-hour mark.
