How can I get enough fiber without eating flours, breads, etc.? Should I use a supplement?

Good for you for reducing your intake of refined carbohydrates. This is a good move for your blood sugar levels and your overall health.

It's a misconception that bread and flour are the best sources of fiber. Some of the best sources of fiber are very low in carbs, including chia seeds, flaxseeds, avocados, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, raspberries, blackberries, almonds and even dark chocolate. If you include most of these foods on your diet on a regular basis, a fiber supplement isn't needed.
