Camp Bluebonnet is held at the beautiful Peaceable Retreat Center for Children in Youngsport, Texas which is about an hour northwest of Austin on FM 2484. Camp Bluebonnet day camp provides diabetes education for children and families with the goal of improving quality of life and prevention of long term complications that threaten the future of children with diabetes. Camp Sweeney is one of few camps in the country designed specifically for kids with diabetes. The only requirement to attend is that a camper has diabetes.

The primary purpose of the Camp is to provide, without charge, a camp for physically disabled, hearing/vision impaired, and diabetic children from the State of Texas, regardless of race, religion, or national origin.
Our goal is to provide an atmosphere wherein campers will learn the "Can Do" philosophy and be allowed to achieve maximum personal growth and self-esteem.

Camp Rainbow is a day camp held Monday-Friday at YMCA Camp Pine Tree in Spring, Texas. Campers are able to experience traditional camping activities like horseback riding, swimming, and arts and crafts. Campers will also learn valuable skills in caring for their diabetes. Camp Rainbow is for children with diabetes and their siblings ages 4-13. Teens ages 14-17 may attend as counselors-in-training.

American Diabetes Association Camp Aurora is a day camp held at Lockheed Martin Recreation Association in Fort Worth, Texas. The program offers an exciting week of outdoor activities while learning valuable lessons on positive diabetes management. Camp promotes self-confidence, independence and peer support. Youth ages 13 -17 have an opportunity to become Counselors-In-Training (CIT) under the supervision of adult counselors.
