Camp Possibilities is headquartered in the state of DE, although we rent a camp in the state of MD where we actually have the camp, and we serve 50-60 children with diabetes primarily from DE, MD and PA. Camp Possibilities is an overnight camp, and our 2008 camp session dates are July 27th - August 1st.

Camp Setebaid Youth Camp serves children ages 8-13 and is only for those with Type 1 diabetes. It is located in Northeastern Pennsylvania and is just west of Wilkes-Barre and east of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Campers can enjoy many activities including; archery, arts and crafts, boating, canoeing, sports, and swimming. Dates for 2008 are July 28-August 2.

The Harrisburg Diabetic Youth Camp (HDYC) is a one-week summer camp for children and teens with diabetes, aged 8-15 years. The HDYC, a Setebaid Services®' program, is held at Camp Victory in Millville, Pennsylvania. Dates for 2008 are June 15-21.

A weekend for children ages 3-12 with diabetes and their families. Split Rock Resort, located in the Poconos, is less than 1 1/2 hours from Philadelphia and less than 2 hours from New York City, yet is a world away in atmosphere. Dates for 2008 are May 16-18.

Camp Setebaid® at Camp Victory is a one-week summer camp for children and teens with diabetes, aged 8-15 years. Camp Setebaid® at Camp Victory, a Setebaid Services®' program, is held at Camp Victory in Millville, Pennsylvania. The camp is staffed by mature adults and experienced professionals, including a Camp Director, Program Director, physician Medical Director, and experienced counselors. All staff (many who have diabetes themselves) are trained in child development psychology, working with children, and diabetes health issues. Activities include archery, arts & crafts, basketball, cabin wars, campfires, a climbing wall, creek stomping, fishing, hockey, paddle boating, primitive camping, a ropes course, singing, soccer, swimming, volleyball, and too many other activities to list. Join us for a week and you’ll take home a lifetime of memories.

The Diabetes Family Weekend at Rocky Gap Resort is a weekend for children ages 3-12 with diabetes and their families. Because managing diabetes often requires a change in lifestyle, family support is needed. Many activities of daily living must be considered, including the food we eat, necessary medication, and activity levels. Setebaid Services®, in cooperation with O’Leary’s Clover Farm, hosts this weekend to serve the families and children living with diabetes. The primary purpose of the weekend is to establish a network of support and assist families to cope with the daily struggles of living with diabetes. Rocky Gap Resort is located off Maryland I-68 (Exit #50) and is approximately two hours from Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Pittsburgh, PA. The resort is the only Jack Nicklaus signature golf resort in Maryland.

Geisinger Center for Health Research is a new conference center at the main Geisinger Medical Center campus in Danville, PA. Located in Central Pennsylvania, this site is just minutes off of Interstate 80.

The American Diabetes Association/Donovan McNabb Diabetes Camp for Kids at Camp Green Lane in Montgomery County is a resident camping program that offers a wide range of activities including recreational swimming, sports, hiking, arts and crafts and theater. Evening campfire activities are highlighted with music, interactive games and group discussion. The Camp centers on the importance of self-reliance and respect for others while providing diabetes education and management for campers. Our program is non-competitive and fosters self-direction. Scholarships available based on financial need.
