dLife Interview with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi

dLife Founder Howard Steinberg sat down with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for an exclusive interview about the DeGette-Castle stem cell research bill (the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2007; H.R.3) that was passed by the House of Representatives on January 11, 2007. If it survives a threatened Presidential veto, the bill will increase the number of lines of stem cells that are eligible to be used in federally-funded research. Watch video below. It was dLife’s goal to present both sides of the stem cell issue from two of the highest ranking officials in the United States. We also contacted the White House for their comments on H.R.3. We were referred to the Assistant Secretary‘s Office of The United States Department of Health and Human Service (HHS). Regrettably, the HHS declined to comment on the issue.

Write your letter to dLife and let your stance on stem cell research be heard. We will compile your feedback and hand-deliver them to Washington, D.C.
