About Lara Rondinelli, RD, LDN, CDE
Lara Rondinelli, RD, LDN, CDE is the co-author of The Healthy Carb Diabetes Cookbook (American Diabetes Association, 2008) as well as Healthy Calendar Diabetic Cooking (American Diabetes Association, 2004). She has lectured nationwide on healthy eating, cooking, and meal planning, and has been featured on various news and radio programs. As a dietitian and diabetes educator, she has counseled people with diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure, and also counsels on weight loss and general wellness. Lara has been involved with the American Diabetes Association diabetes camps, working as lead dietitian for the Triangle D camp in Illinois. She is an active member of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and the American Dietetic Association, and is a new member of the University of Chicago Celiac Center Advisory Board. Lara writes on food and diet, and dishes up healthy recipes for the dLife community in her monthly column, “Everyday Eating.”
