According to the National Diabetes Information Clearinghouse, 20.6 million people over the age of 20 now have diabetes, with 1.5 millions new cases of diabetes being diagnosed every day. 10.9 million of people with diabetes are men, 9.7 millions of them are women, and 10.3 million of them are age 60 and older.
Everyday life – work, social situations, family planning, relationships, etc. – along with the special challenges that different life stages bring, mean that your diabetes management regimen is in a constant state of flux.
