Diabetes Alert Day is here! This day, observed annually on the fourth Tuesday of March is a 1-day wake-up call to inform the American public about the seriousness of diabetes. The day is particularly a day to call to action undiagnosed or untreated diabetes.

- Diabetes affects about 30 million of people in the United States
- 1 in 4 adults with diabetes are unaware they have the disease
- 84 million Americans have prediabetes
- 9 out of 10 adults with prediabetes don’t know they have it
